Namaste! I am a passionate, experienced and versatile massage therapist, yoga instructor and herbalist. A graduate of Hokulani Massage Academy in Hawaii, the foundations of my bodywork practice are lomi lomi, deep tissue, Swedish and table Thai. I'm also trained in reflexology, shiatsu, geo-thermal therapy, gua sha, aromatherapy, reiki, cupping, lymphatic drainage and prenatal and postpartum massage. I've worked closely with acupuncturists, a chiropractor, herbalists and spent many years working in apothecaries to provide depth and versatility to my practice. I utilize and integrate these different tools and modalities to address specific health goals. A lifelong yoga enthusiast, my approach is therapeutic and spiritual, rather than aerobic. My Iyengar-based formal training at Hawaiian Healing Yoga and my practical bodywork experience make me well equipped to tailor classes to fit individual needs. I am sensitive to different body types, shapes and limitations and I aim to make my classes accessible for everyone, regardless of experience, age or ability. I tend an organic herb garden and prepare medicinal oils, salves, tinctures, teas, flower essences and hydrosols. My goal is to facilitate healing, promote maitri (loving kindness) and to provide support for each client. I believe movement towards balance and harmony is the natural tendency. I'm here to help identify and remove obstacles to this harmony and to support and encourage this innate self-healing. I look forward to working with you!
